What's monature?

It's mo'nature as in More Nature or Mother Nature!

More Nature

We all need more nature in our lives. We are part of nature & we need to stay connected with other parts of nature. Get outside – take a hike or just a walk, go to a park, a lake, the river or a stream. Just step out into your yard and “connect”. Listen, watch, smell, touch the trees, plants, ground, dirt, landscape, animals, sky or water.

Realize you are a part of all this.

Spending time in nature can increase our endorphin & dopamin levels. Stress, anxiety, mental fatigue, and depression are reducedn. Attention restoration is another benefit.

There is something called the biophilia hypothesis which suggests that humans possess an innate tendency to seek connections with nature and other forms of life. Edward O. Wilson introduced and popularized the hypothesis in his book, Biophilia.
He defines biophilia as “the urge to affiliate with other forms of life”.

Mother Nature
Definition nature personified as a woman considered as the source and guiding
force of creation.

The Ecosystem
Is a geographic area where plants, animals, and other organisms, as well as weather and landscape, work together to form a bubble of life.

Biodiversity

Is all the different kinds of life you'll find in one area—the variety of animals, plants, fungi, and even microorganisms like bacteria that make up our natural world. Each of these species and organisms work together in ecosystems, like an intricate web, to maintain balance and support life.

We humans need to be aware of the ecosystem and biodiversity. Humans have done

much to upset the balance of nature. From deforestation to polluting the environment. Nature's ecosystem is fragile. The more you immerse yourself in nature the more self evident this beautiful and extraordinary interrelationship will be.  And the need to preserve it!

Peace, Love, Nature
